Account Manager Responsibilities

The Smart Shopper Magazine Account Manager is an outside sales position. As an outside sales professional you are responsible for local and regional sales, managing client relationships, developing tailored, meaningful promotions and advertising campaigns that will result in a successful response from our discriminating readers.

We are looking for:

Passionate sales professional with a strong record of proven success in four key areas:

High activity sales
Customer retention through relationship building
Selling value vs. price
Territory management

Appropriate candidates will have the following:

4 year degree preferred; minimum 2 year degree required
Be a motivated, enthusiastic, reliable self starter with strong customer support skills
Excellent initiative, creativity, negotiating and listening skills
Solid ego with a healthy dose of humility!
